good, not great,
the Skirt of the helmet is too short, but not noticeable to any but the most hardcore WWII historians, the visor is fine, right size and all, but the two front bolts are back by about 2/3ds of an inch, and the vent holes are a tad bit low, slightly hindering the placement of decals. the shell is nice and sturdy, but there’s a big problem with the size: the shell is too small for it’s labeled size, “ET67″, it’s fine for me, but may annoy some others with Obsessive-compulsive disorder, or little heads. the liner and chinstrap are cheap chinese repros, not that great, but nobody’s really looking at your liner calling you a horrible person for possessing such a thing. the liner string is nothing like an original; it looks like my 2-year old shoelace, and is too short to tie it without making the liner perch on top of your head in a most conehead-like style, though this can easily be fixed. otherwise, as the review title says, good, but not great.
another thing to note: the finish on the helmet is field-green, though i am unsure as to whether they all come in that color.
