Great Boots…,
I bought these boots last year because I wanted a pair of knee-high boots that didn’t have a giant, chunky sole. I love these boots. I have back problems and can’t wear a high heel. These are very comfortable and light. The only downside to them is that they scuff easily and are faux leather. I will be purchasing another pair of them this year. Keep in mind that I wore them every day (even in summer) so that may be why they got beat up so easily. Other than that, I would suggest them to anyone looking for this style of boot that doesn’t have alot of money to spend.

|Love these boots,
Just received these today and I love them. Fit true to size, and I love how you can undo the strap and unlace them to loosen or tighten them to fit you just right. Very happy with my purchase.

|Nice S*** kickers,
I’ve been needing some new kickers since my daughter’s dog ate my last ones (evil stare at dog) and these fit the bill nicely. I prefer a hook lace up, but these work fine. I’m going to be in the mountains this winter and wanted something that would protect my feet and provide traction, all the while looking like they kick butt. These do the job. The belt is a bit unnecessary, but an interested touch. I wear a size 7.5 and ordered that and they fit fine.
The only thing I don’t like are the laces. These boots are made for more of a cord type lacing instead of the shoestring type they come with. That’s remedied easy enough, though.

|Very pleased for the price,
I’ll admit that I haven’t had a chance to test these boots in really hard weather (ie deep snow or deep puddles), though the first weekend I had them I wore them for a decent hike in the damp weather and they held up and felt great. The stitching, canvas, and vulcanization seem solid, and they have a nice deep tread for good traction. At $25 I usually expect a pair of shoes/sneakers/boots to last maybe one to two years, and I think these could easily make it longer.
If you’re someone like me who often wears doc martins or full leather combat boots, these are a really decent pair of spring through fall boots (ie lighter and a bit cooler), and, unlike docs, they don’t take much to break in.

|Perfect Fit!,
Ordered the same size boot that I was issued in Viet Nam, fit like a glove.
Great price, perfect fit. What more could you ask for?

|excellent boot for the price,
This is a great boot for general outdoor wear. They are somewhat heavy considering the black rubber is somewhat thin, but they provide good ankle support. They are also surprisingly comfortable once you have tightened up the laces to the wearer’s liking.
The only drawback is a unique (at least to me) petroleum smell that permeates these boots. Outdoor storage is almost mandatory; any room you put these boots in is going to reek of their odor. (My girlfriend almost disowned me for bringing them in the car for a drive. Windows down the whole way, and topic of conversation almost never strayed from how “the smell better not stay.”)
