NOT NICE! Keep Them Dry or they fall apart!,
As an vet knowing how to break in a new pair of boot (especially jungle boots) I took my new boots up the creek.
I found out the insole is all paper! after 4 hours of light walking, the last 2 hours wet I took off my boots to see what the heck was in them; because I had my boots bloused and tightly laced to the top and couldn’t imagine how something could have gotten inside.
The insides fell apart, see attached pic of pieces of brown paper that I pulled out of my boot. It is supposed to be leather or heavy duty nylon breathable webbing.
NOT Crappy Paper! I will try to return them, if not I will go to local shoe store to see if I can buy a leather or nylon insole!
I got the seller to credit me $6 to buy some insoles, and got Kiwi(tm) “Boot Soles” ~$9.oo at Walmart.
BTW: They are NOT steel toe as someone tagged. Also are not too small for stated size I got an 11w and it appears to be AUS size which is one size bigger than US.
My 11w are more like 12w!

These boots are exactly what i am looking for, it is hard to find boots in my size within my price range and Captain Dave’s managed both, i received my boots within three days of placing the purchase and found they where actually a size to large (Very strange for that to happen to me.)
Captain Dave worked with me and i had my new correct sized boots within a week.

Is it the most durable or most comfortable? No. But it is a great value. I would highly recommend. Vendor (Captain Dave’s) did a great job with fast shipping and good customer service.
